Have you ever had to solve a linear programming problem: profit maximisation, cost minimisation, resource allocation, that sort of thing?

Excel’s SOLVER and other routines help us with these sorts of problems. Sometimes, though, you might have to draw a chart or graph to help with understanding or solving these problems. Drawing these charts can be a problem. Here is a chart that’s a bit extreme but which you will find in my new Excel book, which is very nearly ready now.
